The history of Audi TT dates back to 1995, when its concept was shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Audi TT in the body of the 8S is the third generation of the car that loved everyone. It is not difficult to identify the novelty, although it retained all the features peculiar to its predecessors, but acquired new solutions in terms of design. So in the eyes immediately rushes a new proprietary Audi radiator grille, it is a protruding down hexagon, made of black plastic with long horizontally oriented ribs. Also worth noting the updated optics, headlights headlamps predatorily look out from under the edge of the hood, in the basic configuration they are xenon with a border of LED daytime running lights, but for an additional fee you can install a matrix headlamp. Naturally, the car has a new bumper, it looks very aggressive and dynamic thanks to the air intakes on either side of the radiator grille, they resemble the air intakes of a jet fighter or a racing car.
DIMENSIONS AUDI TT
The new generation of the Audi TT has become a little shorter, but the size of the wheelbase has increased, which makes the interior more spacious. In general, the overall dimensions of the novelty are: the length of 4177 mm, the width of 1832 mm, the height of 1353 mm, the wheelbase of 2505 mm, the ground clearance of a small 130 mm, but it should be taken into account that this is a coupe with a small but powerful motor designed for a sprint on the urban jungle or maneuvering in the stream of cars on the track. On the bill of the trunk, you can say the same thing, such a car does not at all imply the transportation of goods or something like that, in the car 305 liters of free space for your bags and other necessary things.
In addition, I want to note that Audi TT is based on the space frame Audi Space Frame. The role of the supporting structure is performed by a sort of cell inside the car, which, in turn, is hung with body panels. Of the advantages of this design, I want to note the extraordinary lightness and rigidity of the design, thanks to this decision, the car will show good handling and stability in steep turns. Due to the fact that the role of the supporting structure is performed by the frame, the body panels can be made of light and resistant corrosion of the alloys, for example the roof frame and the car's thresholds are aluminum.
ENGINES AUDI TT
Audi TT is equipped with two engines and two gearboxes. Everyone can choose something for themselves, especially if you are a fan of pure drive and prefer to fully control the situation on the road, because even the top engine can be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission of variable gears.
