Buick is an American automaker, the division of the corporation General Motors.
It all began in 1899, when the most talented engineer David Buick, a Scotsman by birth, founded the Buick Manufacturing Company, which produced automotive engines using its own unique designs. Over time, Buick decided to aim to manufacture cars, sold the company and founded the Buick Motor Car Company in 1902, the products of which the world saw as early as 1903. This was not the first development of a talented engineer, but for the first time he tried his hand at mass production of cars.
In addition to the North American market itself, Buick is represented in the Chinese market (most of the models sold there are not connected with the Buicks of the American market). There, this brand enjoys an ever-increasing demand. So, in 2007, 331 780 brand cars were sold on the Chinese market (an increase of 10.1%).
