Peugeot is recognized as one of the most reliable car brands imported into Germany. Three models of the French manufacturer at once: Peugeot 107, Peugeot 207, Peugeot 308 - won prizes in the ADAC reliability rating in 2010. The rating was formed on the basis of an analysis of 4.25 million emergency tow truck calls due to technical breakdowns of cars in 2010 in Germany. The results of breakdown statistics convincingly proved the reliability of popular Peugeot models.
ADAC is a German motoring club that annually publishes a study on vehicle reliability. ADAC ratings are based on statistics of breakdowns that lead to a machine stop. The statistics take into account emergency tow truck calls from members of the ADAC club, which includes 17 million car owners. The final ADAC ranking includes the most popular car models sold in Germany.
According to ADAC statistics, Peugeot is the only German import brand to win three prizes at once in the reliability rating. The best results in the ADAC rating were shown by the popular models Peugeot 107, Peugeot 207 and Peugeot 308, each of which entered the top three reliability leaders in its market segment:
The Peugeot 107 took third place in the Supermini category, which included 13 popular models in Germany.
The Peugeot 207 came second in the ADAC rankings in the "Small Car" category, which is in high demand in Germany. In 2010, 23 models participated in the nomination. For the fourth year in a row, the Peugeot 207 has received the highest rating of "++" from ADAC.
Peugeot 308 took the third place among cars of the middle price segment. In 2010, 29 models participated in this category. The Peugeot 308 has been featured in the ADAC rankings since 2008 and for the second year in a row receives the highest rating of “++” from ADAC.
