The Hyundai Tucson was first presented at the Chicago Auto Show in 2004. The name of the Tucson crossover was named after the city of Tucson in Arizona, which, translated from the language of the local Indian tribe, means "spring at the foot of the black mountain."

In the first three years, the model has not changed much. In 2006 automatic climate control and a new audio system were added. In 2007, the crossover has undergone a slight restyling.

In 2009, Hyundai introduced the 2nd generation of the model, called the ix35, at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car quickly gained popularity among consumers not only from Asian countries, but throughout Europe.

In 2013, the restyled ix35 model was presented to the public. The novelty has headlights made using bi-xenon technology with diode running lights, new optics, and other rims. Added a Flex Steer system that regulates the degree of effort on the steering wheel, a heated steering wheel, front parking lights and a 4.2-inch screen in the dashboard. Higher quality materials for interior decoration began to be used.

Since its launch in 2009, the ix35 has received many improvements in design, technology and fuel efficiency and has been highly acclaimed by experts and car owners.

Today, the ix35 is one of Hyundai's most popular models, winning Car of the Year in the Compact SUV category.

February 17, 2015 in Berlin, Hyundai Motor presented a new generation of Tucson. Hyundai Tucson - a car created in Europe and for Europe, has become a new milestone in the modern history of the automaker. The model is produced at the Hyundai plant in the Czech Republic.

The current fourth-generation Tucson is a striking vehicle that, thanks to its impressive design and modern technology, has become another step forward for Hyundai in Europe and offers customers an impressive package of opportunities.
