🔧 Engine and Fuel System
Injector and fuel pump problems (especially diesel): clogs or leaks are common.
Hard starting in cold weather: especially on older models with mechanical pumps.
Leaks from valve covers and oil filters.
⚡ Electrical
Charging system problems (alternator): worn brushes, loose connections.
Wiring problems, especially under the cab: moisture and corrosion.
ECM errors: due to voltage surges or poor connections.

Poor cooling or heating: refrigerant leak, fan problems.
Failure of the heater/air conditioning control unit.
